Don Julio Reposado is 100% Blue Weber Agave , double distilled, and rested in charred oak bourbon barrels for up to 11 months. Each agave is hand selected at maturity and only the heart of the distillation is used, as it is the purest part, free from most impurities. This is up there on my list as one of the best.

Golden brown in colour and sweet smelling, this tequila has an aroma of fruit…and when you burp chocolate (most weird). It starts with a sweet taste as soon as it hits your tongue which is followed by a hint of apple. It finishes….leaving me wanting more! This is nothing short of great value for money and it’s a lovely drink. Now that 1800 is no longer being produced by Cuervo (I prefered the taste back then) this will no be readily available in my house…especially since it’s cheaper!
