    So that time of year is once again upon us….it’s National Tequila Day for those in the US. We thought we’d pay tribute to our favourite intoxicating drink with a bit of info on the subject. This is one thing I’m happy to adopt from ‘across the pond’.

    Casa Vieja Añejo

    Casa Vieja is a premium tequila made from 100% blue agave, in the Arandas, Jalisco region of Mexico. The tequila is twice distilled to achieve a soft, smooth taste, and to perfectly extract the fruit aroma and flavor of the blue agave. It is then aged and matured in white oak barrels, refining the flavor and creating a cognac-like body. The tequila is certified OU Kosher for both Passover and year-round use, when bearing the OU hologram on the bottle.
