Tequila Herradura, one of the oldest and most respected 100 percent blue agave tequila brands since 1870, announced today the introduction of its new primary and secondary packaging developed to highlight the brand’s ultra-premium, hand-crafted authenticity.
So that time of year is once again upon us….it’s National Tequila Day for those in the US. We thought we’d pay tribute to our favourite intoxicating drink with a bit of info on the subject. This is one thing I’m happy to adopt from ‘across the pond’.
Friday is ‘National Tequila Day’ in the US. We’re not going to let the Yanks have all the fun and intend to join in the festivities.
Casa Vieja is a premium tequila made from 100% blue agave, in the Arandas, Jalisco region of Mexico. The tequila is twice distilled to achieve a soft, smooth taste, and to perfectly extract the fruit aroma and flavor of the blue agave. It is then aged and matured in white oak barrels, refining the flavor and creating a cognac-like body. The tequila is certified OU Kosher for both Passover and year-round use, when bearing the OU hologram on the bottle.
