Montalvo Tequila Expands Distribution In United States

Montalvo Tequila announced today that their award-winning brand has secured distribution in two additional states, Florida and New Jersey. Montalvo Tequila, which launched in New York and California in April 2012, is now available through MHW, Ltd. in New Jersey and Antares, Inc., in Florida.

At the prestigious Ultimate Spirits Challenge 2013, Montalvo Tequila’s Plata was named Finalist, being awarded 93 points out of 100. And at the 2013 Spirits of the Americas Competition, Montalvo’s Reposado was named "Best of Class" in the Reposado Tequila category.

Montalvo Tequila is in talks to further expand distribution throughout the United States and internationally, with additional wholesaler partnerships expected to be announced early this summer.

Partida Tequila Launch Marketing Campaign: Bad Tequila Blows

Earlier this week Partida Tequila kicked off their brand new online marketing campaign, 'Bad Tequila Blows', through their website and social networks. The text and accompanying video lay particular focus on how poor tequila will often leave the drinker with horrible, twisted facial expressions, flared nostrils, rippling cheeks and clenched teeth. Or as the 'Tequila Institute' like to call it, 'Shitty Tequila Face'.

Worth noting is that Partida appear to be taking shot at Patron, the 'Leading Brand' featured in the campaign video. For obvious reasons the label and name of Patron is neither seen nor mentioned, but the unmistakable shape of the bottle is there for anyone who knows their tequila. Hopefully Patron have the decency to take it all in their stride.

Critics Agree - Tequila Don Weber is the Best

It would appear that Tequila Don Weber are experience a period of success of late, winning awards and accolades as well as gaining further exposure of their brand through both television series and films. In 2012 the tequila brand was honoured as one of the 'Most Outstanding Spirits' of the year as well as picking up awards for "Best Highland Blanco", the "Best Highland Reposado", and the "Best Highland Añejo".

Tequila Don Weber was recently selected to be provided for use on the set of the television show "The Big Bang Theory", which filmed in April, and has also been provided for use on movie sets such as "Fast and Furious 7", "The Other Woman", starring Leslie Mann, Kristen Wiig and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau to be filmed in May 2012, and "Birdman", starring Emma Stone, Zack Galifianakis and Michael Keaton, due to be filmed this year.
